TERMS AND CONDITIONS
[Haitian Mother’s day campaign]
1. The competition
1.1 Taptap Send is running the Haitian Mother’s Day Video Contest — “Manman Ayisyèn, Fyète yon Nasyon” — a social media video competition celebrating Haitian mothers. Participants are invited to create and share original short videos on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook.
1.2 Participants have the chance to win prizes, which include: a 1st place cash prize of $2,000, a 2nd place cash prize of $1,000, and a 3rd place cash prize of $500.
1.3 Winners will be determined based on a two-phase voting process.
Phase 1 — Community Voting (May 11–25, 2026): Contestants publish their own videos publicly on their personal social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook). Users vote by liking the contestant's video directly on the contestant's own post. The 10 contestants with the highest number of likes on their own video post at the close of Phase 1 advance to Phase 2.
Phase 2 — Finalist Voting (May 25–30, 2026): Taptap Send will repost all 10 finalist videos on the Taptap Send Haiti Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook pages. Users vote by liking their preferred finalist video on any of the Taptap Send Haiti pages. The 3 finalist videos with the highest like counts at the close of Phase 2 will be declared winners.
1.4 How to enter
1.5 The competition will run from [May 11th] (the "Opening Date") to [May 30th] (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
1.6 All competition entries must be received by Taptap Send by no later than the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
1.7 The winners will be announced on the Taptap Send Haiti public Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook pages on [May 31st] (the “Announcement Date”).
1.8 To enter the competition:
(a) Create an original video between 30 and 90 seconds in length celebrating Haitian mothers.
(b) Post the video publicly on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook during the submission period (May 11–25, 2026).
(c) Include the official campaign hashtag in the post caption.
(d) Tag, as applicable, the @taptapsendhaiti Instagram account, the @taptapsendhaiti TikTok account, or the Taptap Send Haiti Facebook page, in the post.
(e) Keep your profile set to public for the full duration of the contest.
1.9 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1 To be eligible to win the competition you must:
(a) Be aged 18 years or over
(b) Be a resident of Canada, EU (excluding Greece, Austria, Germany, Spain, Slovakia, Finland, Czech Republic, Portugal and Italy), or the United States (excluding the states of Nebraska, North Dakota, and Vermont).
2.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. Taptap Send may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
2.3 In entering the competition, you acknowledge that you may be publicly featured on Taptap Send’s official social media pages.
2.4 Taptap Send will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk; or
(c) incomplete.
2.5 There is a limit of one entry per person. Participants may share their entry across multiple social media platforms; however, only one unique video submission per participant will be considered. For the purpose of determining the winner, only the number of likes on the platform where the entry has received the highest engagement will be counted.
2.6 Taptap Send reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
3. The prizes
3.1 The table below outlines the prizes available to be won. All prizes will be paid out in cash. 3 prizes will be distributed in total.

3.2 Prizes are subject to availability.
3.3 The prizes are not negotiable or transferable.
3.4 In order to claim the prize you must respond to the direct message sent to you by the official Taptap Send Haiti account on the platform on which you posted your winning submission, and provide all required information.
4. Winners
4.1 Taptap Send will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.
4.2 If requested to do so by a national advertising regulator, Taptap Send must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Taptap Send will publish the surname and county of major prize winners.
5. Claiming the prize
5.1 If you are the winner of the prize, you will have 7 working days from the Announcement Date to claim the prize. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid. Please allow 7 working days from the day you claimed your prize for delivery of the prize.
5.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
5.3 Taptap Send will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 7 working days of the Announcement Date, Taptap Send reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
5.4 Taptap Send does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
6. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, Taptap Send, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Taptap Send, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
7. Data protection and publicity
7.1 Taptap Send will only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Policy. See also conditions 5.1 and 5.2 with regard to the announcement of winners.
8. General
8.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Taptap Send may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
8.2 Taptap Send reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
