Where can my recipient pick up the money in Lebanon?

The recipient can pick up cash by visiting a nearby Whish Agent or MTM store and showing the 12-digit pickup code along with a government-issued ID. Whish has over 1,400 stores across Lebanon, and MTM has over 300 stores. For amounts greater than 200 USD via Whish, recipients should preferably visit Official Whish Agents, Talaco Agents, or IPIN Agents. For amounts less than 200 USD, Taptap Send recommended agents are also suitable — these are agents Taptap Send has verified to have USD cash liquidity, fewer network issues, and an updated agent list. On weekends, most Whish agents are closed, but Official Whish Agents, Talaco Agents and IPIN Agents typically remain open until the afternoon.

What if I sent money to the wrong person or to the wrong number?

No, there are zero cash-out fees for the recipient across all three delivery methods (Whish Wallets, Whish Cash Pickup, and MTM). If a Whish transfer amount has decimals (an amount less than one dollar), please ensure the recipient asks the agent to settle the additional value in Lebanese Pounds based on the daily market rate before proceeding with the withdrawal. Note that amounts that require small bills of 10, 5 or 1 USD via Whish are often cashed out at the LBP market rate rather than USD.
